For centuries, Siberian Ginseng has been a staple in traditional medicine practices across Russia, China, and Korea. The herb is a renowned adaptogen, meaning it helps increase the body's non-specific resistance to mental, physical, and environmental stress.

Russian scientists have studied Siberian Ginseng since the 1950s. It has been used to improve physical and mental performance and endurance, enhance vitality and combat fatigue. Research suggests that Siberian Ginseng might positively impact cognitive function, potentially improving memory and concentration.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) categorizes Siberian Ginseng as a 'Qi tonic,' which means that the herb strengthens the body's vital energy flow, known as Qi. TCM practitioners use Siberian Ginseng to address conditions associated with Qi deficiency, including fatigue, weakened immunity, and respiratory problems.

Some research indicates that Siberian Ginseng may modulate the immune system, potentially increasing the activity of immune cells and enhancing the body's defense mechanisms. It contains a group of glycosides known as eleutherosides that may help enhance and support immune the system response.

German studies show that it increases the number and activity of lymphocytes, a type of immune cell that acts as the body’s primary defence against viral infections.
